2026 Nashville Reunion Recap

2 min read

Well, our 2026 reunion in Nashville has come and gone. It was a cherished time. While only 5 of us were able to make it this year, we felt like we were ALL there. The love is real!

Here's a photo album to enjoy. You'll see a bit of the city, the 9-2-5 fireworks in honor of Dolly Parton on 9/25, cowboy boots, our hotel, our smiling faces and more!

Some highlights and things we learned:

  • Nashville is a warm and welcoming city.

  • Google maps has directions both for walking and driving.

  • A sense of direction comes in handy.

  • All the women in the honky-tonks swoon for Tom--"Dance with me Tom" He is the real deal. A Jewish Cowboy through and through.

  • Everybody loves Dolly.

  • The Opry is a grand. And old! It just turned 101.

  • The Country Music Hall of Fame has a wealth of information. (Did you know there was another Jewish Cowboy who created and tailored the country fashion look? (I bet you didn't.)

  • Stetsons and cowboy boots are appropriate anywhere.

  • Splitwise is a challenge and a useful app.

  • We all feel very fortunate to have known and appreciated and loved each other for so long.

  • Alan and Lisa had a fabulous trip to India earlier this year.

  • Boston Logan airport can indeed cancel due to weather.

  • Dena can get a little grumpy but Tom always has a smile on his face.

  • The W Hotel was a nice place to stay.

  • We miss Carol and Julie.

  • Barbecue and fried foods are delicious and allowed while on vacation.

  • And more! Ann, Lisa, Tom, Alan---please add your highlights in the comments of this post. Remember to include your name.

And there you have it.

Next reunion 2030. Start planning.

I love you all.
